Since 2009, Electri-Serve has supported the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
If it’s springtime in Denver, that can only mean one thing: it’s time to go bald for kids! Specifically, we’re talking about going bald to support kids with cancer. So, we’re shaving our heads and raising money for pediatric cancer research because kids’ cancer is different from grown-ups’ cancer.
Every few years, Sara Metzler, our leader, (and daughter of one of our owners) forms a St. Baldrick’s Foundation Fundraising Team. In that time, Sara’s teams have raised nearly $4,000 to support pediatric cancer research.
Sara has formed a 2017 team and our team of seven stand ready to buzz our heads and raise some dough for kids with cancer. So, what do you say? Will you join us in 2017 by donating to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation in support of our head-shaving team?
